Welcome

Queen Camel Bowls Club is a small village bowls club, which was formed in 1948.  The club is open from mid April through to mid September and has a full fixture list of of  matches in the Wessex mixed league and friendlies with nearby clubs plus internal competitions.

The club is open to all players, no matter whether you have played the game before and all ages.  New members are always welcome to join in on the official club night, which is Tuesday,  when the club opens for the Umbrella Competition, a casual "roll-up" or for a more social drink at the bar. Coaching can be provided by our own qualified coach.

For new members a taster session can be arranged and all that is required are flat-soled shoes.  With no obligation it is an ideal way to get a feel for the game with our coach and meet the club members.

The club is run by the members and prides itself as being a friendly club for the enjoyment of playing bowls but maintains the etiquette of the general bowling community.

The Club is affiliated to Bowls England and Somerset Bowls Association.
